The Hands That Lifted You

None of us rise without a hand reaching back.

Mentors are divine mirrors — they reflect the potential within us before we can fully see it.

Sometimes they’re teachers or coaches. Sometimes they’re ancestors, books, or spiritual whispers.
Each one carries the light that guided you through a dark or uncertain season.

To honor our mentors is to honor divine timing — to say, “Thank you for showing up when I needed you most.”

Gratitude for our guides connects us to the lineage of wisdom that flows through humanity.
And here’s the beautiful part: when you thank your mentors, you keep that light alive — and in turn, become a mentor yourself.

Journal Practice: Write a thank-you note to someone who inspired or taught you — even if they don’t know it. Read it aloud or send it if you can.

Closing Thought: Gratitude creates legacy. As you honor your guides, you prepare yourself to become one.
